AAARRRGGGGHHHHHH!

I need to start a new private blog so that I can vent about some things. Some people, Lord love them (and I am serious about that), are bullies and just plain mean. How can a person find joy in being a bully? Now I'm starting to feel sorry for the mean person. That must be some kind of miserable existance...

And that's all I have to say about that!

-----------------------------An evening edit...just wanted to clarify that the bully isn't related to anything "bloggy." I've been really fortunate that I've never received a rude comment...folks haven't always agreed with me but the discourse has always been civil, thank goodness!!

  1. I HATE a bully. I do not understand why people have to be mean to others. I guess it makes them feel superior - who knows.

BTW - love the fruit tarts and your parking spot looks shady. I opted to go to Edisto last week-end and did not go to the game, so I am not sure how our spot is this year. I know we "lost" our good spot because we did not pay an additional $400.00 per ticket....we kept the good seats South - 50 yard line - row F, but just could not justify paying the additional money for the space....I figured a little walking never hurt anyone, especially after a little beer and fried chicken.

  8. I'm always so torn between feeling bad that someone is so unhappy with their own life that they need to make others unhappy and just being plain mad myself!

  9. Uh Oh...did you get a nasty comment? I have no words of advice no matter how or where this person bullied you. Other than...my husband always says, "Be the better person". I love that. And I love him, so I try to follow that advice. But it doesn't mean you can't vent. Vent away!!!

  10. People can be hateful at times, can't they? One of my sweet blogger friends almost quit blogging because of some harsh comments that were left by a fellow blogger. Thank goodness she didn't, but it is a shame for someone to spoil the joy of others. You wonder what kind of pleasure people like that get out of life? Put a smile on your face and don't let it bother you. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for you. Love & blessings from NC!

  11. Sometimes I just write the blog and then delete it, it makes me feel better to get it out of my system. I think when people are mean they are just very unhappy with themselves.

  12. Bullies are just wrong. It's hard to ignore them too, especially if your feelings have been hurt. So sorry about that. I just started a blog this past week (http://omglookwhatninaseating.blogspot.com/) and I hope the bullies stay away. But I hope you don't. Stop on over and let me know what ya think. :)

  14. Bullies hate themselves so they spend their lives being mean to others. In most cases they have been or are being bullied. But it is still miserable to have to tolerate them!

  15. They can be the worst, although sometimes when someone stands up to them they are so stunned they crumble.

I'm sorry you have to cope with one Miss Belle. :(

  16. Ugh.... I feel your pain. I can't stand that behavior, but often find myself feeling sorry for that bully as well. All bullies were bullied. No excuse when you're an adult, but scars last.

  17. I agree and this why I wish I had a private blog sometimes too. That way I could vent how I feel about some of the crazy things that people in my life do that I will never understand.

  18. oh, I was worried that you were having problems in blogland. I would hate for you to be discouraged by comments here.

But, it is such a bummer to have to deal with fools in our real lives!

  19. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this right now. I'll never understand some people's need to belittle others in order to make themselves feel powerful. Doesn't it just make them the smaller person. Hope these weren't nasty blog comments. I sent a letter to the editor and holy cow the half wits and crackpots are coming out of the woodwork. I had considered publishing the letter as a blog post, but now I'm hesitant to. And that's just sad. Hope your cute new clutch helps make it all better! Hugs, Kathy
