Hunting...and other stuff...

1. Hank and our friend Tom went turkey hunting on Saturday so Lorelai, Tom's wife Anne, and I took a hunting excursion of our own. Of course, we were hunting for shoes, clothes, and a lovely lunch instead of turkeys.

2. Lorelai, Anne, and I had a successful hunt. Hank and Tom did not.

3. Legare has found a place to live in Charlotte for the summer while he works as a summer associate in a law firm. Here's hoping that it turns into a permanent job offer upon his May 2011 graduation from law school.

4. I haven't put up the first Easter decoration and you all are making me LOOK BAD with your pretty tables, wreaths, and decorating projects. We won't be entertaining so I'm just not worrying about is WILD these days.

Have a great week!!

  1. Glad you were successful in your hunt!

  2. Glad that at least one of the hunts was a success! And you didn't even need a license for yours :) Good news about Legare, hopefully this will turn into a permanent position for him. Hope that even though work is wild, it's going well. Kathy (btw, just finished the House on Tradd Street - not my normal cup of tea but I really liked it alot! On to the Girl on Legare Street next. Thanks for the tip!)

  3. I haven't done one thing for Easter either. And don't plan to. The kids won't be home, so I'm not worrying about it either. Great about Legare! So fun to shop the day away! xoxo

  4. My daughter lives in Charlotte and she and her husband love it there. I'm sure your son will too. Hopefully, like you said, it will turn into a full time job for him. That is what happened for my daughter. Went from an internship in a CPA firm to a full time job. Glad you gals had a fun shopping trip! I have not put out Easter decorations yet either. I have been too busy with cleaning out my basement and this weekend I was out of town. Have a great week. Love & blessings from NC!

  5. Me again, thanks for the sweet note and the birthday wishes. Hey, don't worry about missing my actual date. We have been celebrating for over a week. No problem! Enjoy your week. Love & blessings from NC!

  6. I need some inspiration. Post a couple links to some pretty decorating sites if you have time.

Please makes me HAPPY!
