Since I started my new job, time is flying by. I told somebody yesterday that I feel like I'm in purgatory...since budget cuts are keeping them from hiring anyone to replace me in my old job, I'm getting pulled back in to those tasks along with the new ones. Please understand that I am NOT complaining, but wanted you to know why I may not be posting or commenting as much as usual for the time being. My blog reading and commenting will primarily happen on the weekends. Don't forget about me now...that would make me sad.
I'll have some pretty pictures soon of Lorelai's bedroom. Hank has been working hard since Saturday to get it painted. Our goal is to have it done by the time she gets home for spring break in a week or so. Legare's spring break is coming up also...we haven't seen him since he went back to school after Christmas. Lorelai fractured her finger playing flag football. Mother, Ned, and Hank's mother are behaving themselves. That about sums it up! Pretty boring, isn't it...BUT...sometimes boring is a WELCOME state of being.
Got to go get ready for work...my day starts with a United Way meeting in Charleston...
Hope you're having a good week...What's been happening in your neck of the woods?? SERIOUSLY...if you don't tell me in a comment, I'm may not know until this weekend!!!

Can't wait to see the room! I am sorry to hear about your daughter's finger! With all the typing and texting we all do now, that is bound to be annoying!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great day!
I think you have a lot going on in your life and none of it is boring to me. Work gives me a headache. I can't wait to see Lorelai's room and am so sorry about her finger. Again I had to laugh over everyone behaving themselves. Your family is such a hoot!!
ReplyDeleteTake care.

You sound like a very busy woman!!
ReplyDeleteIt snowed last night in Columbia- that's what has been happening in my neck of the woods ;-)
Not too much new on this front either. I teach at a university (Sacred Heart University) in CT. and we have spring break next week. I am so ready for the break. I think the professors like the break much more than even the students do. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are super busy! Glad that everyone is behaving, especially right now. Can't wait to see Lorelai's room. We finally got Cait's painted (the weekend before she moved back in - no, I don't procrastinate lol) Sorry about her finger, I thought the point of flag football was to avoid injury! Right now, I'd be pretty content with boring. Hope you have a great rest of the week. Kathy
ReplyDeleteHi, I can't wait to see Lorelai's room! Glad everyone is doing ok and I'm sorry things are hectic at the job right now. I won't forget you, you just take care of yourself and visit when you can. I'm taking a blog break trying to get a head start on packing a few of our fragile, sentimental items. We had a freak snow storm yesterday! I'm ready for Spring.
ReplyDeleteSickness going around at our house so you aren't missing anything:)
ReplyDeleteBoring is welcome. I could use some of that too:)
Looking forward to seeing Lorelai's new room. Boring is definitely a welcome state of being. :)
