Legare is home for a couple of days on fall break from law school so I'll be back a'bloggin on Saturday. In the meantime, I'm just curious how others approach blog reading. I'm following a number of people through the Blogspot Follower and a bunch of other people through Bloglines...trying to decide which "reader/feeder" I like best. All total I'm probably checking in with over 60 folks.
How many do you follow...how do you manage...which "reader/feeder" is your favorite?

I am kinda leaning towards the one on the blogger homepage since it lets me go straight to the blog and comment, however I like that google reader lets me read posts even if people delete them
ReplyDeletegood question....i struggle with this as well. keep me posted on what u find out!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with Legare.
ReplyDeleteI have 31 people in my feed. I use the feed in IE. I think it is easy to use and right there when I want to see who has written what. I have a few people in blogspot follower but I don't think that is as convenient.
Ah, law school breaks - I remember those! Especially if Legare is a first year, those breaks are much needed. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAs far as blog readers, I've tried a few and personally like Google Reader the best. I find it easiest to see who has updated what using it vs. Blogger following, for example.
We actually like netvibes.com best of any...that allows you to include things like newspapers, websites, etc.
ReplyDeleteAfter that, Google Reader is our next choice.
BTW, we love the blog!
Good luck!

I don't know what I would do without my google reader. Love it. Keeps everything together... in one spot... very organized. Google reader is the ONLY thing in my life that is organized and I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI use blogspot follower. The only one I have tried... It works for me.
ReplyDeleteI heart my google reader. :-)
ReplyDeleteI use blogspot follower. i looove it! I follow over 90 blogs so it keeps me reading all the time :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend! I am not really sure what is the best way. haha, I thought having a "blog roll" was fancy, so the readers and feeders are beyond me! ;)

ReplyDeletei use google reader. i can put the ones i "follow" In there. they actually show up in there automatically and the screen is big and easy to read. then i can put others in there that i don't "follow." there are about 200 blogs in there-- it gets really hard to keep up with!
ReplyDeleteTag you're it! Hope you enjoyed your few days with your baby!
ReplyDeletehugs from NC
I just started the whole following thing today but up until now I would just depend on my unreal memory.
ReplyDeleteI love bloglines. You can see when people have posted something new. I have 163 blogs I watch!
ReplyDeleteI too like Google Reader. Try it.
ReplyDeleteI agree. That would be a darling room for a college gal. That has been part of my struggle with using the madras fabric - not wanting the room to look too "young". That's really why I am waiting to see what CM does. I already have my fabric - just trying to decide how to use it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your Tigers today. They just marched down the entire football field with arms locked to show unity... poor Coach Bowden...Have a great day! xoxo
I do it the old fashioned way by saving all the links in my favorites on Explorer and I click over and read then at least once a week. I think the new blogger reader takes you to the actual blog, too. I like seeing the blog homepage, the photos, etc.
