Overheard...

In a corner of the law library by Legare....a female voice saying, "Dear God, please make me a bird so I can fly far far away....Dear God, please make me a bird so I can fly far far away." I told him that if he should hear the same voice uttering Life is like a box of chocolates over and over to call me and we'll stage a Forrest Gump intervention.

In a school teacher's lounge...Legare's friend Lulu saying, "Dear God, please don't let me hurt these demon children...please don't let me hurt these demon children...please don't let me hurt these demon children."

I guess it's just that time of year....

  13. That's hilarious! But not at all surprising, lol. I've been saying little repetitive prayers like that a lot lately. And most have to do with children :-)

  15. Hi & thanks for dropping by my blog. I've seen a couple of you Clemson fans out there. So you're in Charleston? We lived in Irmo exactly 1 year (06-07). You should come up to the Christmas show. I didn't get to go like I had planned yesterday, but it's on until Sunday.

  16. P.S. Love the sweet tea. If I had to pick a "poison", that's mine! My husband, being from the north, just doesn't get it.
