Sometimes you just want to cry...

Got Lorelai all moved back into the dorm. Last night, apparently, a bottle of water turned over on her desk. Her one year old Macbook was nearby but appeared to be unharmed. This morning the Macbook was dead. 911 was called but the patient could not be revived. If my blood pressure doesn't go down, somebody might be calling 911 for ME!

  4. Oh, I also feel your pain. A few weeks ago, Allie took me shopping with her, via cell phone, for a new laptop. A week later her car needed tires, which we bought. This week she is shopping for a new car. Her poor sister hasn't even ordered a new backpack for school. I bet she is thinking that college students get all of the goodies.

  6. Aghh! We just bought one for Ashton and he always has a drink around it! I am constantly moving things around to prevent accidents, what will I do when he is out of sight? Was it insured? Is ours? I should find out!

  9. I spilled tea on the keyboard of my husband's brand new laptop once. It cost $750 to fix it, and he had no computer for several weeks. I feel your pain!

  10. I poured apple juice on my IBM freshman year, but wound up getting an Apple after it didn't make it. :-)

But my mom got the same phone call this past spring when mine died.
